Complete Yacht Maintenance

Our certified divers and specially trained personnel are available to perform all types of service required in the marine industry. Underwater bottom cleaning is performed using a soft scrub method that cleans the boat bottom without removing the bottom coating. Time is used to clean all through hull fittings and detail the running gear, such as props and shafts. Zinc inventory is taken on each new account and changed when judged poor. Monthly invoice will itemize the condition of bottom paint, zincs, props, rudders and transducers. We also perform in water prop changes, salvage dives, thru-hull installation and wet san epoxy coating on racing sailboats.

Biography

Rob Williams studied Marine Biology, navigation and boat handling at Orange Coast College in southern California. He has a passion for the sea, boats and diving and was a certified SCUBA diver when only sixteen. Diving the California Channel islands was his favorite hobby, which turned into a lifelong profession. He has sailing experience in the Caribbean and waters of Mexico with countless crossings of the Catalina channel.

Santa Catalina Island was Rob's home for one year on a 40 foot sloop while he worked for the Catalina Island Company at Two Harbors as a harbor patrolman. He began boating at the young age of 8 with his father in San Francisco Bay.

Since 1980, Rob has worked exclusively in Newport Harbor. He has dedicated his life to servicing fine yachts, and also performs volunteer diving for California Department of Fish and Game in the Newport Back Bay, is a member of the American Legion Yacht Club and a member of the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum. Not content being a knowledgeable and professional SCUBA diver, Rob is also a licensed yacht broker who knows boats above and below the water line. He and his family live in Balboa and his children attend Newport Elementary School.

26-40'	=	$1.25 per foot
41-50'	=	$1.50 per foot
51-60'	=	$1.75 per foot
61-70'	=	$2.00 per foot

Boats with outdrive (IO) add $10.00 for each outdrive. Boats with poor paint or first time cleaning may be more. Call for free quote.
